Add Tables to SD - DELIVERIES

$
0
0
If your company runs the SD module, the configuration enhancements documented here may need to be deployed into your systems Gold Client configuration. The tables included in this enhancement are: SHP_IDX_GDSI, SHP_IDX_CRED, SHP_IDX_PICK, VTRDI, and LL04. In your Production system (or a recent copy of Production) use t-code SE16 or SE16N to query these tables to see if data exists. Follow the instructions below to deploy these changes in your own system.

Step 1: In your primary Source client (typically Production), go to ZGOLD > Configuration > Framework > Data Echo
Step 2: Open data type SD - DELIVERIES and select the 'Tables' maintenance view
Step 3: Add any or all of the table relations listed below, and be sure to add the common fields for each table relation using the screen captures below for guidance
LL04 - LIKP
SHP_IDX_CRED - LIKP
SHP_IDX_GDSI - LIKP
SHP_IDX_PICK - LIKP
VTRDI - LIKP

Size: 156.5 KB

Consider the need to apply these same config changes to other Delivery-related data types such as SD - DELIVERIES FROM PO and SD - DELIVERIES TO ORDERS, and any custom data types in your system.
When changes are complete, save one final time and exit the framework.

Upgrading Attunity CDC for Oracle - side by side

$

Hi,

We are running Attunity SSIS CDC for Oracle on Production on SQL Server 2012. We are upgrading our infrastructure to SQL Server 2016 in a side by side migration pattern. We will be upgrading our test box first obviously. I have got SQL Server 2012 and SQL Server 2016 working side by side without issue. My question is can I run two versions of Attunity (the one that came with 2012 and the one that came with 2016) side by side? If not is the latest version backward compatible with 2012? If it is then once I've migrated the databases 2012 -> 2016 I imagine I shouldn't need to do anything other than change instance name. If it's not I'll need to migrate the service. Is there an upgrade methodology for Attunity I should be using here?

Many thanks,

David

If your organization needs to use Gold Client to copy Product Configuration objects within your CRM landscape, these enhancements may be relevant.
The 153 tables involved are too many to list here but can be summarized as all tables which start with the name COMM_CFG* or COMM_SCE*; see the screen captures and specific details below for deploying these enhancements within the Gold Client configuration.
Instead of copying in all of these tables manually, use the ‘Insert by Pattern’ utility and input values COMM_CFG* and COMM_SCE*; the utility execution will programmatically locate and add all of the tables to this data type
